At PTC, all faculty and staff are actively concerned for the welfare of the students and their families. Care and assistance is provided through a range of means.
Rev Peter Hastie
Available for consultation and counsel. An appointment can be made to speak with him. Students are encouraged to approach individual lecturers about matters concerning particular subjects.

Available to advise students on subject selection, academic progress and concerning any queries about the requirements of ACT students and PCA candidates.

Holds the physical safety of students and staff as a prime concern, and the committee includes a student representative.
The John Paton Student Fellowship, the PTC Women’s Group and the regular Care Groups act as vital support groups within college life.

Counselling is by appointment and is strictly confidential.
Reduced fees are available for those with a government concession card, or demonstrated financial hardship.
