PTC is pleased to announce our intensive unit for 2019, ‘Augustine of Hippo, His Times and His Theology’.
We will be taught by Rev Dr Peter Barnes (M.A. (Hons), B.D., Dip.Ed, ThD.), Adjunct Lecturer in Church History at Christ College in Sydney.
Augustine has much to teach us, so do come along and see what we can learn from one of the great cloud of witnesses!
This event is free and open to everyone. You do not have to be a student and you do not need to have attended the rest of the intensive, which runs all week.
In Semester 2, 2019, we will be delivering an exciting short course on the history of science from a Christian perspective.
This unit aims to show how the scientific enterprise is not only compatible with Christian faith, but that Christian faith entails such enterprise. We will also learn about the Christian believers who have so often led the way in scientific advance.
