Discipleship training from Romans 1
PTC is pleased invite you to our second Women's Training Conference! We loved having over 60 women join us last year to learn from God's word and train to serve in His Kingdom. This year, we're back for another day of gospel-centred fellowship and practical teaching. We hope to see you there!
What to expect
We will being the day with an extended seminar teaching the what, how and why of one-to-one discipleship, presented by Carmelina Read. Get ready for solid teaching, helpful examples, and time to practise together!
In the afternoon, we will hear from women who will be interviewed about their experiences of discipleship, mentoring, and ministering to women.
After a time of prayer, we will finish off the day with a bible talk on Romans 1 from Carmelina!

About our speakers
Carmelina Read
Main speaker
Carmelina has been the Dean of Women at Christ College since 2005. In this role she co-ordinates the Ministry Training for Women programme, as well as co-lecturing several subjects. Carmelina ministers with her husband Jeff at Chatswood Presbyterian Church.
Jayne Chambers
Interviewee
Jayne has been involved in ministry to women since her early 20s (more than 35 years!), and has led various bible studies and growth groups in this time. She loves encouraging women in their walk with God, and doing life with them in all its forms. Jayne attends and serves at Bundoora Presbyterian Church.
Hannah Arnold
Interviewee
Hannah is a fun-loving woman who has managed her family's cafe in Croydon since 2016. She attends Wonga Park Christian Reformed Church, where she serves on the music team and leads a young women's life group. Reaching the lost has always been a passion of Hannah's, and working in hospitality gives her a great forum to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

We will have a selection of books for sale which complement the topics explored at the Women's Training Conference.

The conference will be fully catered, including morning tea, lunch, and barista-made coffee! (You heard that right! Your ticket includes unlimited coffee, tea, chai lattes and hot chocolate.)

The cut-off date to purchase tickets including lunch has closed. Tickets are still available which include morning tea and unlimited barista coffee until Thursday 6th September.
