About Equip

The Equip conference is a wonderful day where women all over Sydney gather to be taught by women. The committee has chosen to systematically work through books of the Bible, and is currently focusing on 1 Corinthians.

Thankfully, you don't have to be in Sydney to be a part of Equip! The magic of technology allows the conference to be live-streamed across the country.

Equip @ PTC

The PTC is delighted to be hosting our very first live-stream of the Equip conference this year!

We will gather together to worship God, learn from the Bible through Equip's speakers, and enjoy fellowship together.

Can't I just stream the conference at home?

Yes, you could. But, we think it's special to gather together to learn and spend time together!

And, thanks to group registration discounts, it would cost you the same to live-stream at home as it would to attend Equip @ PTC, which includes fantastic food, coffee and company!

We are providing delicious food for the ladies at Equip@PTC!

We will have a grazing table with cupcakes, cheese platters and other nibbles to help yourself to throughout the day, and gourmet sandwiches for lunch.

In honour of the royal wedding happening on the day, our food will have an English theme!

Following on with our Women's Conference tradition, there is also unlimited barista coffee included with your ticket!

+ FAQs

What does the structure of the day look like?
The Equip conference is livestreamed from 10am through to 3pm, split into two main sessions with a lunch break in the middle. These sessions will include worship time, bible talks, book reviews and panel discussions.

What's the vibe? Is it just like attending the conference in Sydney?
We want people to feel very relaxed on the day, so the room will be set up with couches and comfortable seating, and a snack buffet for people to help themselves. We want people to enjoy the high-quality teaching of the Equip Conference, in a comfortable and relaxed environment!

How does worship time work on a livestream?
We will be singing along with the women at Equip, using the words that will be projected onto the screen along with video footage of the live worship in Sydney.

I have dietary restrictions, can you cater for me?
We are able to cater for people who are vegetarian or gluten free. These options are made available during registration. If you have other dietary restrictions, we ask that you bring your own food.

Do I have to pay full price if I'm bringing my own food?
If you choose to self-cater, please use the code OWNFOOD at checkout to receive a 50% discount on your registration.

Are children welcome at Equip@PTC?
Nursing mothers are very welcome to bring their baby along! We will do our very best to make you comfortable. Unfortunately there are no child-care facilities available, so older children cannot be accommodated at this event.
