Special focus programmes

Biblical counselling

At PTC, we seek God’s wisdom for our lives, rather than worldly wisdom. The biblical counselling focus provides training in pastoral counselling that is rigorously Christ-centred and founded on Scripture.

Chaplaincy training

PTC has graduates who have served in all kinds of chaplaincy. Depending upon your chosen field, one or two specialised units can be undertaken with an external provider and credited to your PTC course.

Asian programme

PTC encourages the support and development of Christians from Asian countries, or those with an Asian background. We offer several degree specialisations designed to partner with Asian communities in training their future leaders.

Inter-cultural studies programme (ICS)

The ICS programme is designed to trained those intending to become missionaries. It combines biblical, theological and practical subject areas with a major study focus in mission.

Presbyterian candidates

PTC partners with Victorian Presbyteries to train candidates for ordination as ministers in the Presbyterian church. Degree-level studies are integrated with additional training to prepare candidates for full-time ministry.
