Terms and Conditions for Donations

Thank you for supporting PTC. By donating through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Donor Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to make a donation. By donating, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Use of Donations

All donations made through this website will be used solely for PTC’s charitable purposes. We will allocate funds as we determine, only within the purpose that you selected from the options given on the website.

3. Payment Processing

Donations are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your credit card or banking information. By donating, you agree to the terms and conditions of the payment processor.

4. Recurring Donations

If you opt for recurring donations, you authorise PTC to charge your selected payment method at the frequency you have chosen. If a payment fails, we may retry or notify you to update your payment method. You may cancel or modify your recurring donation at any time by contacting us or through your donor account. You must make or give notice of cancellations or modifications at least three full business days at a minimum before the next scheduled charge is to be made. PTC is not responsible if you give notice by email or mail and PTC does not receive the notice within the minimum timeframe (including if the email goes through to spam). You are responsible for ensuring that your notice is received by PTC, and if you receive no reply to your written communication, you undertake to telephone the College office. PTC will process a notice to cancel or modify a recurring donation within one full business day of receiving the notice.

5. Refund Policy

Donations are final and non-refundable unless required by law. You are responsible for entering the correct amount and payment details.

6. Tax Deductibility

Some donations over $2, as indicated on the website, may be tax-deductible in Australia depending on your circumstances.

7. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share donor information with third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit consent. We reserve the right to contact you to clarify the terms of your donation.

8. Receipts

You will receive an electronic receipt for your donation via email.

9. Prohibited donations

Donations from illegal sources, donations intended to produce outcomes not in accordance with the mission, positions, and beliefs of PTC and the Presbyterian Church of Victoria, or donations that violate any laws or regulations may not be made.

10. Processing faults

We are not responsible for faults or issues caused by third-party wallets or payment gateways.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
