3 hours per week in semester 2, odd years
The theology of Hebrews is studied including the themes of covenant; high priesthood; perfection; use of the Old Testament; and the church. Selected passages from the book are exegeted and presented in class by students. Students will develop exegetical methodology, reflect on significant themes in Hebrews, explore imagery and scriptural allusions, and consider the contemporary application of the text.
