In God’s kindness, Janet enjoyed growing up with parents who love the Lord Jesus and the blessing of faithful Bible teaching pastors and churches.  It was through these God brought her by his grace to know Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. 

After a decade in rural veterinary practice and a short stint in Africa, Janet returned to Sydney to study theology at Sydney Missionary and Bible College.  On graduation she continued at SMBC in a pastoral role and taught students in Greek and preaching for fifteen years. 

Two years ago, Janet moved from the college to join the pastoral team at Drummoyne Presbyterian Church where it’s a delight to serve the saints and introduce those yet to believe to Jesus.

Janet loves spending time with her extended family, and the banter and deeper conversation of shared meals with them.

Life with Jesus at the centre is a roller coaster and Janet is thankful for the Lord’s gift of the Psalms to sing through the valleys, on the mountain tops, and the slopes in between.
