Overview

This subject covers the contents and theology of the Pentateuch, with special reference to Deuteronomy especially such themes as covenant, law, land, grace, holy war, people of God, blessing and cursing. English exegesis covers Genesis 1-11 and Deuteronomy 5-8, 12, 16-18. Hebrew exegesis covers Genesis 1-3 and Deuteronomy 5-7.
